ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Allen Chew
Allen is a U.S. Navy veteran. He is listed on the Ancestor Roll of Honor with the First Families of America, having ancestors dating back to 1608 in Albany, New York. He holds a Certificate of Nomination from the Congress of the United States and, as an official member of the American Legion, is also a life member of the VFW.
Allen used his VA benefits to attend college. Upon graduation, he worked as a Systems Technician for Cox Communications, and later as a Systems Line Technician for Selkirk Communications. On April 15, 1989, he was injured in a car accident, which forced him into early retirement.
He moved to a large lake outside a small town in Central Texas, where his family had resided since before Texas became a state. He now lives there quietly with his chickens, rabbits, and dogs.
